Behind a facade of the 7th arrondissement stands the Hôtel Turgot. Its lovely rooms have kept their 18th century decorations, between courtyard and garden, and offers an intimate setting for the Fondation Custodia.

Since 1947 the art collection of the famous Dutch art historian Frits Lugt has been located here. Constituted during the first half of the 20th century , this collection comprises 7,000 drawings, 30,000 prints, 220 paintings and 40,000 letters of artists around the world … The Foundation is closely linked to the Dutch Inter University Institute history art in Florence and the Netherlands Bureau for Art history in Den Hague.
