The company Remy Garnier continues to put its expertise at the service of decoration making and decorative hardware parts restaurant and art locksmithing for doors and windows.
The original workshop founded on the left bank in 1832 by Rémy Garnier, was relocated between 1860 and 1870 on the site that the company currently holds. The Bastille shop still fulfills the various work stations where fitters, turners, polishers, locksmiths perform thorough know-how to make beautiful pieces of hardware and decorative hardware. Further, the casters, which are the cornerstone of the locksmith of art, sculpted by hand ornamentation to sign as many unique pieces. Gilding by electrolysis then is to soak the parts in baths of gold nitrate. The bright and shiny look of the room can be kept as is or then be applied by a craftsman pigments for matte gilding.
The workshop brings together Chelles meanwhile less traditional techniques such as turning laser and water jet.
The foundry has remained integrated with Rémy Garnier at the Tours site in Château-Renault, the former Bronze Company. After this exciting tour, the bronze work of art will have no more secrets for you!
